Meet The Team – Sunny

By 7th August 2023No Comments

Over the last weeks, our dear sister, Teresa, has been putting a series of searching questions to Andrew, Haya, Sameer & Sunny, with the intention of sharing a little bit more about us with you. After sharing a bit about Haya and Sameer last moth, it’s on to Sunny. Enjoy!

Sweet or savoury?

Savoury

If you could have dinner with three people (dead or alive) who would they be and why?

My father. I didn’t have enough time to spend with him when he was alive.

Our former President in the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte. I want to ask him about how he handled things in his city & the country and why he made the choices he did.

My daughter. I am not able to spend enough quality time with her so I want to take that opportunity.

What is your favourite dish to cook?

Chicken Adobo. It’s a classic dish from my country & so delicious!

If you could only eat one dish for the rest of your life what would it be and why?

Filipino mixed vegetables with Pork. It has eggplant, squash, tomatoes, string beans & a very bitter vegetable we have that I don’t know the english name for! We mix it with pepper, fish sauce & anchovies. The smell when cooking isn’t the best but the taste is amazing!

What is your favourite drink to make?

Mexican beer

What is your favourite drink to drink?

Orange Juice

What do you enjoy most about being part of the vicarage and sons team in Amman?

The companionship

It’s summer! Can you share a summer recipe/cocktail recipe with our followers for them to try at home?

Halo Halo! It has crushed ice, fruits, milk, ice cream, custard – basically whatever you want all mixed up for dessert.

What is your most memorable moment of vicarage and sons events so far?

The Christmas events we did at Turquoise Mountain in 2021. It really made me feel it was Christmas at a time when I missed being at home for the celebrations.
